Hola! We're a family of four sailing around the world aboard ONA, raising two little sailors and choosing to
everywhere we go.
Our story
We're a family of four — Jordi, Andrea, Emma, and Gala — sailing around the world aboard our Outremer 55 catamaran, ONA.
What started as Jordi's dream of sailing around the world slowly became a family project — one that would allow us to spend more time together, step away from our comfortable life, and show our girls the world in a completely different way.
So we prepared our businesses, packed our bags, left our home and bought a catamaran. We moved aboard ONA in June 2025, and in September we set off from La Grande-Motte, France, on a rally around the world.
Since then, we've been crossing oceans, discovering remote islands, meeting incredible people, homeschooling along the way, and learning — sometimes the hard way — what life at sea is really about.
Andrea is from Venezuela, Jordi is from Spain, and Emma and Gala were born in the United States. Together, we're raising two little girls with a love for travel, curiosity, independence, adventure, and the ocean.
This journey isn't just about sailing around the world. It's about choosing a different way of living for a while, creating memories together, embracing the unknown, and choosing to .
Welcome aboard ONA. ⛵️🌍

A kava welcome
Before we set sail, Jordi, the captain at ONA's helm, wrote a book about the philosophy behind our businesses and, really, our whole way of living: whenever you have the chance to help someone, you do it, and you pay it forward. That's the philosophy we carry with us on this journey, from port to port.
Giving back locally
We've learned there are a million ways to give back; you just have to keep your eyes and heart open. When we get the chance to visit a school, we bring supplies for the kids. We've sat down with locals to help them start their own businesses, and we've contributed financially where it could truly change something.
Inspiring the next family
If sharing our story inspires just one family to set out on an adventure like this with their kids, it's all worth it. We're a normal family that left home to live a dream, and you can do it too.
Sharing what we learn along the way
No lessons, no rules, just our honest experience as a family cruising with two little girls: what has worked for us, what hasn't, and everything in between. Take what helps you and leave what doesn't.
